Tina Robinson - Intuitive, Healer & Author
Educational Background: BSc in Health Education, Applied Arts diploma in Community Studies & Counselling in youth and adult corrections. Growing up, it was normal for me to see my grandfather, a well-known intuitive healer, at work. In my early years, I recall frequent visitors at my grandparents' house seeking my grandfather's counsel, or watching him step away from family events to answer scheduled calls. Initially, I believed it was related to his job, but I later understood his unique gift for healing physical ailments. On family summer vacations, it was a spectacle for the younger children to see my grandfather pick up a worm, hold it in his hand until it became motionless, and then, after a few minutes, place it back on the ground, where we would all wait eagerly for it to spring back to life. I recall starting to communicate with angels and spirits around the age of seven. After school, I would often retreat to my room for 'Angel Parties', where I'd spend time coloring, drawing, laughing, and chatting about enjoyable topics. Soon, I realized that my peers did not share this ability to see or converse with angels and spirits, prompting me to keep these interactions private. (A gentle suggestion: If your child is exceptionally sensitive emotionally, has an imaginary friend, or seems to converse with deceased grandparents, for instance, offering positive recognition can be beneficial, as they may possess heightened sensitivities.) In my adolescent years, I became aware of my ability to sense the thoughts and feelings of others (empathy), and I frequently questioned why many people did not express themselves completely. At 18, I left home to pursue the traditional route of college and a career in youth correctional counseling. Two years into my job, I chose to return to university to redirect my education and career. Despite years of success, I never felt truly settled or fulfilled. Occasionally, I would convey messages from deceased loved ones to strangers without giving much thought to my abilities. However, in August 2008, after enduring two near-death experiences within a day and spending nine critical days in the ICU, my life was transformed irrevocably—and for the better. The journey 'home' allowed me to fully recognize and comprehend the connection between my innate gifts and my life's purpose of serving others' well-being. In 2010, I established my intuitive healing practice, Mindful Intentions, and for the first time, I felt a sense of wholeness. The services provided by my practice are exclusively based on my abilities and are designed to offer clients mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual support and healing. In 2019, aiming to inspire young minds, I released an inspirational children's book called Grandpa's Magical Forest. This book features full-page illustrations and weaves a tale that fosters curiosity, promotes kindness, and underscores the significance of holding onto one's dreams. As the experiences of my personal life shape my soul's journey towards growth, your experiences will similarly guide you. Discovering how to live from within is essential for a life journey replete with harmony and satisfaction. |
